What is your favorite leadership quote?
"Help enough people get what they want and you will naturally get what you want." - Zig Zigler
What attracted you to your current industry and role?
Having gone to thousands of networking events, I've seen literally thousands of people who have great services and products but are not meeting their perfect clients. I also have met hundreds who want to be on purpose and making a difference in the world, yet either they were waiting until they were successful before living their purpose....or they were doing so much for others that they, their family and their business suffered for it.
With "Purpose Driven Marketing Campaigns" I can be of service to all these people!! I can help these high ticket service providers get in front of their perfect clients all while doing the right thing. They can make money WHILE making a difference. It is a beautiful alignment of Purpose, Profession and Profit that is win win win for everyone!
What is the most important thing you have learned that has been critical to your career success?
Take responsibility for yourself. Good, bad or indifferent....everything in your life you created.
Change your playgrounds and play mates. Who you hang out with is who you become.
GET A MENTOR. Experience is expensive. Invest in someone else's, it's faster, cheaper and better way to shorten the learning curve.
What is your leadership style?
Real, Raw, Relatable and Reachable
What advice do you have for aspiring leaders?
The first 3 may require a little explanation, but I am happy to provide that here!
Lead the Movement
Lead the Conversation
Lead the Room
Always be reading, listening to and learning positive and transformational personal development
HAVE A MENTOR! Shorten the learning curve from many years to a few months.
What tools or resources have you used that have been crucial to your success?
Audibles and all the audio books there makes my car a rolling library! Events like Diversify Thinking's Rise & Diversify Breakfast to keep me in front of and in touch with local leaders, movers n shakers......and conventions, expos and gatherings that I travel to as it exposes me to visionaries and thought leaders I would not have met otherwise.
What steps are you currently taking to improve yourself, professionally?
ALWAYS being coached, attending events with like-minded people and information that is in alignment with positivity, professionalism and the pursuit of happiness!
What is your proudest achievement?
Getting sober. If I had not put the bottle down, I shudder to think where I would be. I would have nothing without having done that.
What do you think needs to happen or have you seen done successfully in the past to create an inclusive workplace/corporate culture?
Tolerance, acceptance, taking responsibility, letting go of ego. By helping others we do all of that and when we have a Purpose Driven Marketing Campaign, we can help others while helping out business grow.
We become more inclusive, more diversified, more abundant - more of everything.
